I have a degree in Commerce, but haven\'t accrued much interest (ahaha get it?) in traditional \"business\". My professional preference lies in solving people problems. I am extremely customer service oriented, and am happiest when I\'m helping others. I am also passionate about anything and everything that betters the professional and personal well-being of others.My personal and self-guiding view on leadership is to lead by example; by treating others with respect in order to earn it for yourself, by putting their needs before your own, and by empowering them to achieve what they couldn\'t have by themselves. To me, a leader isn\'t always the loudest one in the room, but rather the one everyone voluntarily quiets down for in order to listen to. You become this person by earning the respect of those around you, and there are no shortcuts or cheats in doing so. I believe a good leader is genuine, personable, and capable. I strive to be all three in whatever I do.
