ABOUT GRAEME WILLIAMS
I am a display architect, an electrical engineer, a computer programmer, a game developer, a fabricator of organic electronic devices, and a skilled technical writer. For the past decade I worked at Apple defining the optical display specifications for the displays used in the Apple Watch (Series 1 through 3) and the iPhone (X through 16 Pro). I cut my teeth establishing the key display performance metrics and specifications for the iPhone X, which set a new display performance baseline through the smartphone industry. I was the display team lead for the display used in the iPhone 13 Pro, finally bringing the LTPO technology and the much-sought-after ProMotion feature to the iPhone family. In general, I had a key role in the architectural development, new specification development and release of every iPhone display since the iPhone X.In 2024, after sprinting through life at a breakneck pace, I decided to take a moment to step away from my career as a display engineer/architect, and focus on my other interests and passions in life. Beyond supporting my lovely wife in her career as a psychotherapist, I dedicate myself to continuous learning, especially in fields of computer programming, game development, and pixel + computer-generated art.
