Sparking energy into Learning & Development with interactive engaging forward-thinking learning methodology is important to me, this is where I make the magic happen. Today\'s workforce generations demand modern-day learning, COVID-19 days have warped speeded us into the future. Back in the day, it was Flipcharts, Projectors, Planes, Trains & Automobiles, this was my first role as an Operational Trainer with the Bank of Scotland. I was mentored, coached, and developed by legends of Learning & Development; they have shaped the standards I work to today. Loved it then and still love developing people today.Now I have great memories of, let us just call it back in the L&D day, however, present-day things look a lot different. I can now facilitate learning virtually anytime anywhere, wow!It is no longer Leeds, Manchester, Glasgow & London, I have the world at the end of virtual connection, I love this, I can facilitate colleagues on ZOOM around the globe, who can learn from each other, amazing. One world in one room. To date, a typical day for me can be varied, having senior leader conversations identifying needs within the business, developing Operational Trainers to design and deliver virtual training, designing learning or even masterminding learning solutions for a diverse global multinational learner audience, I am lucky. I love digging into my leader’s challenges, L&D Detective mode, I am naturally inquisitive (nearly said nosey) I think you need to be with my role, you need to be active, not reactive. Albeit I am so passionate to help, let us not go into solution mode straight away, real true performance consulting diagnosis is important to me, measurable performance results, getting all the detail before providing solutions, let us not waste money, make a commercial impact. I see myself as someone who has good financial acumen, I understand the cost-benefit of doing the right thing and the cost of not getting it right. I am a big believer in relationships that are built on trust, we might not always agree however when work together we can achieve greatness. You cannot change what you did yesterday, however, you can change what you do today.Think like me, believe the same, and then connect. I would love to hear your story.
