This role encompasses provision of financial advice to a number of key areas including - Legal & Partnerships Directorate - Economic Development & the Hull & East Yorkshire Local Enterprise Partnership (“HEYLEP”)- Major Projects & - Housing. Formerly also covered - Hull UK City of Culture Lead the annual fiscal review of council housing finances (the financial business plan) & produce the annual Housing Revenue Account (“HRA”) budget. The annual budget (capital & revenue) is £145m, and the Council has approx properties. Lead financial advisor on behalf of the Council as Accountable Body for the Hull & East Yorkshire Local Enterprise Partnership (formerly Humber LEP) including Getting Building Fund, Local Growth Fund, and the Growing Places Fund. Support a number of procurement exercises and significant regeneration schemes across the city & the wider Humber region, many of which are listed as projects below.
