ABOUT GRAEME HUTCHISON
Dr Graeme Hutchison is a chartered electrical engineer and Technical Director for GHD in Europe. He is an experienced project director being envolved in various projects relating to power system planning, investment appraisal, privatisation and regulatory studies, system operations and security, and interconnectors. Graeme is a passionate public speaker and has significant experience in stakeholder engagement.Graeme has recently completed a series of long term studies for the Nordic TSOs; investigating the impact of high renewable penetration and low inertia to the emergency operating regimes of the network. This work resulted in a revision of load shedding settings across four countries and associated engagement with associated TSO’s and Distribution Operators.Graeme was recently responsible for buyer side due diligence of the Oman Electricity Transmission Company and led the review of legislative and regulatory risks in keeping with licence obligations.
