My name is Gracie Steely, and I am currently a senior at the University of Tennessee, studying Human Resource Management with a collateral in Marketing and a minor in Social Entrepreneurship within the Haslam College of Business. I chose these areas of focus because they allow me to combine my passion for people and leadership with my commitment to creating positive social impact.During my time at UT, I have developed a deep appreciation for the importance of strong leadership, empathy, and community engagement. I have had the opportunity to refine my leadership skills, working closely with my peers to drive initiatives that align with my core values of service and compassion. These experiences have been instrumental in shaping my professional journey.My ultimate career goal is to leverage my skills in human resource management to make a meaningful impact in the nonprofit sector. Growing up in a disadvantaged area, I’ve witnessed firsthand the power of civic engagement and philanthropy, and I’m passionate about working in fields that prioritize giving back to communities in need.
