About Gracie Long

From the start of my college experience, I really had no idea what I wanted to pursue as a career. My freshman year, when I started out in the College of Business, I contemplated tons of different options. Turns out, I thought I wanted to be a Veterinarian. NOPE! That lasted for about two semesters. While it may have seemed like a waste to go through two semesters of Animal Sciences classes just to switch back into Business, it was actually very eye-opening for me. I figured out that even though I have a huge passion for animals, I didn\'t want my profession to be centered solely around them. So, when I made the decision to switch back into Business, I decided to step back and evaluate some of my other passions and strengths. One of my top strengths is adaptability. When working, I am typically a very flexible person who can stay productive and problem-solve quickly. I am also a huge people person. I love making connections with people and forming relationships. One of my favorite ways to do this is through photography. Having worked in social media marketing, I feel that I am proficient at using all of my strengths, passions, and even weaknesses to be successful in any new job or environment. The more that I dive into the world of Marketing, the more I love it. I see endless opportunities for creativity and am looking forward to seeing where it takes me!When I\'m not working, you can find me playing with my rescue pup, riding horses, or sitting in a deer stand!
