ABOUT GRACIE GIROUARD

Handled all aspects of a full accounting cycle including all monthly, quarterly and year end closings for a prominent real estate development, investment, and management company holding $1.9 billion in assets world wide. Solely responsible for financial statement preparation review, analysis of general ledgers, balance sheets, cash flow statements, bank/account reconciliations and profit and loss analyses. Experience with reporting for all internal and external entities, including international investment partnerships, in compliance with GAAP and SOX, for a portfolio of multifamily properties with units valued at $638 million- Assisted accounts payable department with training and implementation for 5 employees in office. Trained and mentored new employees to ensure in house controls are properly applied and executed- Helped with software implementation and integration of an SAP program to integrate all accounting systems across multiple business ventures. Worked within the accounting department to enact initiatives for greater internal controls, and to ease and consolidate closing procedures- Helped head a committee led by company CFO to complete yearly external audits by PWC and KPMG with ease by maintaining all financial records, projecting cash flows, and providing supplemental documentation in a timely manner.
