ABOUT GRACE HOVEN
I am currently an Information Security Manager. My current focus is on Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC).I have been designated as a Fellow of Information Privacy and am certified as a Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe and a Certified Information Privacy Manager via IAPP.I worked for over three years in consulting at Deloitte Germany and PwC Germany in Berlin. My focus was on data privacy, cyber risk, and digitalization in healthcare. I also utilized these skills to assist the public sector, international telecommunications companies and global security technology companies.I earned my Master in International Security Management at the Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Recht Berlin and my Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management and Policy from the School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University, with a minor in Russian and East European Studies and a certificate in Russian.Through courses at the Goethe Institute, living in Berlin, and all of my project work at PwC and Deloitte, I am currently at the C1 CEFR level in German. I appreciate working in a company where I have the opportunity to improve my German even further, through usage in the workplace and courses offered in my free time.
