ABOUT GRACE GATES
I’ve always been someone who learns by digging in. Whether it was breaking down a company’s financials for a class project or teaching myself the basics of Python, I’m drawn to understanding how things actually work, not just in theory, but in practice. That mindset has shaped my experience across financial analysis, market research, and strategy, and how I think about using data to make decisions. My interest in finance is also personal. Growing up around my family’s small business, I saw how decisions about pricing, expansion, and investment play out in real time. I’m especially interested in using finance as a tool to help small businesses grow in a way that’s thoughtful and sustainable. I hope to build a career in financial strategy or corporate finance and eventually apply those skills to help scale founder-led businesses, including my own.
