ABOUT GRACE COWAN
I base my clinical work on integrative, evidence-based approaches tailored to each client’s needs. Mental health care is often most effective when it considers the whole person and actively involves the client.My training includes Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), as well as foundational principles from Rogerian and Adlerian approaches.I also strive to understand how social relationships, community, and environment shape a person’s experience. This perspective helps validate clients, recognize their strengths, and support meaningful, lasting change.I tailor my approach based on ethical standards, client feedback, and treatment outcomes, ensuring care is responsive, individualized, and effective.
