Through monthly panelist career webinars, Joy to Job aims to help high school students feel more confident in their career path by connecting them with professionals in careers they are interested in. Students gain realistic information about the field and get their questions answered by people who have experienced the field first hand. I lead Joy to Job\'s team of 8 university and high school students-Moderate monthly webinars (5 panelists and 50-100 attendees per webinar- 35 webinars to date)-Grow Joy to Job (from 40 to 100 webinar attendees) through creating relationships with community partners (City of Calgary, United Way AIFY Program), relationships with Calgary high schools, and municipal and provincial publicities-Secure sponsorship funding(Mount Royal University, SAIT, Blackline Safety, InceptionU)-Develop Joy to Job structure for future success (integrate new high school team members)-Lead Joy to Job team and onboard 3 new high school Joy to Job team members (establish roles of team members, lead team meetings, teach new team members relevant skills and procedures)
