ABOUT GRACE AKUA NUAMAH

I am an experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA USA), Chartered Accountant (ACCA UK) and a member of Institute of Chartered Accountant Ghana (ICAG), a former Audit Manager at Deloitte New York City, the largest professional services network by revenue and number of employees in the world, providing audit and assurance, tax, consulting, and risk and financial advisory services to a broad cross-section of the largest corporations and governmental agencies, and currently working with IFC (the World Bank Group) in Washington DC.I have a demonstrated history of about 10 years’ experience working as an accountant and auditor. I translate a great wealth of knowledge and experience in auditing and leadership into serving and providing value adding recommendations to diverse clients in Financial Services, Government and Public Services, Technology, Media and Telecommunications, and Consumer Services.I am highly organized and very focused on team quality and team effectiveness to get results on time, on budget, and to the required standard on each engagement. I have led many teams on-site and in multiple locations to perform audits, including consolidations, group audits, review of statutory accounts, financial reviews, and disclosures. My 10 years work experience has equipped me with skills in accounting policy, internal control testing, financial analysis, financial reporting, data analytics, auditing SEC Registrant Companies, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Standards (GAAS), Statutory Accounting Principles (SAP), International Standards on Auditing (ISAs), report writing, project management, coaching, and executing audits under the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Public Company Oversight Accounting Board (PCAOB).My story is a tale of grace, determination, and resilience, shaped by poverty, pain, people’s sacrifices, and love.
