   Manage approximately 160 FTE\'s with focus on: • Central Registration and Insurance Management teams and initiatives, which includes using Artificial Intelligence (AI) to streamline efforts and eliminate overtime. • Patient Estimate strategy and operational oversight, collecting over $3 million a month in prepayments (and over estimates finalized per month) using Epic as well as AI to autogenerate estimates based on historical data. • Operational oversight of RTE (Real Time Eligibility) for Vanderbilt\'s eligibility and benefit collection efforts. • Operational oversight over the Point of Service collections at the front desk and online patient portals. • Management of the Emergency Registration Department (which processes approx. four hundred patients per day), encompassing the Adult and Pediatric ED\'s. Reduced OT by over 50% using various strategies though we were below budget in FTE\'s. • Management of the Admitting, Inpatient Financial Counseling/Urgent Emergent team who oversee registration/collection/follow-up for same day surgeries, Cardiac Cath, transfers and direct admit patients.
