About Grace Toyama
While I originally spent my life \"knowing\" that I would enter the world of medicine for the majority of my childhood, I stumbled upon the world of business, specifically accounting during my sophomore year of college. Making the decision to change paths was one of the most daunting choices I’ve ever made, but it ultimately led me to where I am today. I\'m proud to say I am a recent graduate of the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa’s Shidler College of Business with my Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Accounting. Additionally, I’m actively pursuing my CPA license.I also dedicate the career I have today to the various leadership opportunities through my extracurriculars in high school and college. I’ve developed confidence in my abilities to lead, communicate, and work efficiently in teams which have aided in both my academic and professional careers.If there is one thing that I have learned while beginning my career, it would be to push myself to become comfortable with the uncomfortable. I believe this mindset has allowed me to become adaptable in new environments and learn new things everyday. I\'ve learned to embrace the challenges presented before me, knowing that sometimes the most uncomfortable positions can become some of the most rewarding growth opportunities in my life!
