   I am currently serving on the board of the West Seattle Timebank as Vice President. I recently served on the TimeBanks West Seattle/Burien Steering Committee and on the ToPS (TimeBanks of Puget Sound) Finance Committee as a representative from the Burien area. I am please to say that as a part of the steering committee we moved forward with West Seattle Timebank becoming a WA State Non-Profit with a membership to TimeBanksUSA, our parent organization. TimeBanking is a way of giving and receiving to build supportive networks and strong communities. One hour helping another earns one TimeBank Hour (also called time credits, service credits or time dollars.) TimeBanking builds on the magic of “pay it forward,” one good turn leading to another and another. TimeBanking is an international concept with many local groups, over 300, in the United States and abroad. TimeBanksUSA is registered 501c3 non-profits.
