About Grace Murdock

As a current Marketing student at Auburn University I have had the opportunity to gain knowledge and experiences through many different jobs and organizations. This year specifically I had the opportunity to help our digital media team create content for my sorority for specific events and holidays. Through my position of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion chair. I also have had experience with networking and sales, by working as a Student Gift Officer for Auburn University. Where I would use my excellent communication skills to update our alumni on new experiences and building on campuses, as well as updates for future developments. While also requesting donations not only for Auburn University as a whole, but specific departments as well. When it comes to my future I aspire to be a sales representative for either a pharmaceutical or medical device company. I have grown up in a family full of doctors and nurses, which makes me unique to other candidates due to my years of experience being in the hospital and around the terminology. I also have taken multiple science courses on top off my Marketing coursework. Including Intro to Microbiology, Chemistry 1, Anatomy, and Health Ethics. On top of that I just finished a minor in Human Development and Family Sciences, which has allowed me to have a unique understanding on human development and aspects through birth to adulthood. While also allowing me to be a valuable team member by leading individuals to do task that highlight their strengths. On top off teaching me excellent leadership, communication, and people skills.

1. Director of Membership Enrichment

   Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternity

   In my role as Director of Membership Enrichment, I oversee and manage the Chaplain, Chair of Fraternity Education, Mental Health Chair, and DEI Chair. In addition, I develop visually appealing presentations that showcase the achievements and distinctive traits of each of our 250 chapter members while emphasizing the chapter\'s values, involvement, and engagement. I work together with programs council to support our members\' education and growth—for instance, by teaching them how to network and prepare for interviews and resumes, etc. As well as work hand-and-hand with our executive team to make sure our values are being uphold, and members have opportunities available to them throughout their 4 years.
