ABOUT GRACE CLARK
I’m a recent graduate now working as Field Organiser for Scottish Labour. Before this I was working part time as an Accompanying Representative for GMB Scotland.Over the last four years through volunteering, working, and my studies I have built skills in organisation, leadership and community engagement.I’m hardworking, detailed oriented, and passionate in everything I do and I want to put my existing skills to use to bring about positive social change and improve the lives of those who need it most. Education Philosophy & Politics, The University of Edinburgh (2:1). Dissertation on Epistemic Injustice and Neurodiversity, awarded a First and currently pursuing publication. Experience & VolunteeringField Organiser, Scottish Labour - Working alongside candidates ahead of the 2026 Scottish Parliamentary Elections. My work primarily involves being out on the campaign trail and assisting candidates as well as coordinating with Scottish Labour HQ. Working with constituencies in Forth Valley. GMB Scotland, Accompanying Representative – Represented and gave advice to workers from across Edinburgh & the Lothians at employment tribunal hearings, as well as assisting with investigations and evidence gathering. Play Scotland Volunteer – Developed an online resource for nature-based play and helped develop policy. Scottish Labour Parliamentary Research Academy – Completed intensive training on parliamentary process. Edinburgh Food Project (Trussell Trust Network) Volunteer – Supported food parcel distribution, strengthened community engagement, and upheld a no-judgement policy. The 93% Club Edinburgh (President) – Led campaign to make Edinburgh a leader in training staff on classism and accent discrimination, reaching staff. Secured sponsorship and raised for charity. Self-employed Babysitter, Tutor & Catsitter – Built trusted, long-term relationships with families. Intern, Scottish Labour MP Kirsty McNeill – Organised and led campaigning sessions during the 2024 General Election.
