About Grace Loflin

I grew up with a salesman Father who was probably disappointed when his oldest daughter told him that they wanted to paint for a living. When I came to him at 23 to tell him I was moving overseas instead to open up restaurants, he was thrilled with the possibilities. I spent the beginning of my career hopping around the Middle East as a Restaurant Operator. Nothing could have prepared me for the lessons I would learn from the people, from the struggle, or as I found in my first taxi ride, the language barrier. The sheer volume of production those restaurants could handle and would see daily was staggering.I moved back to the States to work on my new passion, Restaurant Design & Project Management. My operations background gave me insight that I use every day when assessing kitchen efficiencies and equipment selection. My Dad’s sales tips still ring in my ears and my favorite conversations are with my customers who are putting their money on the line to make their Dream Restaurant a reality.
