As a full-time legislative intern, I serve in a multi-faceted role that blends administrative support with constituent outreach and communications. I contribute to the efficient operation of the office while gaining invaluable exposure to the legislative process. My responsibilities include but are not limited to:Constituent Engagement: Answering phone calls, responding to emails, and providing information to constituents, ensuring their concerns are addressed promptly and professionally.Capitol Tours: Leading tours of the U.S. Capitol, offering visitors an informative and engaging experience of the legislative branch.Office Management: Managing the front desk, greeting guests, and creating a welcoming environment for all office visitors.Communication & Outreach: Drafting speeches and Congressional Record statements for the Congressman, crafting social media posts, and designing graphics to promote office initiatives and events.Legislative Support: Attending meetings on behalf of the office, taking detailed notes, and assisting with the development of legislative strategies.Administrative Tasks: Sorting mail, running general errands, and providing essential behind-the-scenes support to the office’s operations.

ABOUT GRACE KAZAK
Hi! I’m Grace Kazak, a current senior at the University of Georgia where I am earning my degree in International Affairs and a certificate in Personal and Organizational Leadership through Terry College’s Institute for Leadership Advancement. I’m deeply passionate about global engagement, leadership development, and storytelling that sparks impact. Throughout college, I pursued opportunities that allowed me to lead with purpose and serve my community. I spent three years in the Student Government Association—serving as both Director of Programming and a Peer Leader mentoring first-year students. I also worked as a Resident Assistant in Brumby Hall, supporting nearly first-year students across three years. Additionally, I was the Spirit Committee Head and an ambassador in the Arch Society, dedicating over 80 hours to university service, and served as the Director of Leadership in Alpha Gamma Delta. I was also initiated into the societies Omicron Delta Kappa and Order of Omega for my academic standing and leadership roles on campus. I’m especially interested in the intersections of international relations, policy, and human-centered storytelling. My academic journey included studying abroad in South Africa during a national election season and currently completing the Washington Semester Program in D.C. during the Presidential transition, where I intern full-time in Congressman Bishop\'s (GA-02) office while earning academic credit.
