Develops systems and practices to support staff in obtaining the resources needed to meet high levels of programmatic performance, professional development, and team morale.Leads daily operations and implements policies.Develops and oversees internal administrative, financial, and HR policies, ensuring alignment with the organization’s mission and values, and a safe, productive, and healthy work environment.Oversees insurance and legal matters, compliance, and special projects. Works with the Executive Director on developing human resource policies and people operations, including building organizational infrastructure, leading talent acquisition, staff management, workload balancing, and employee development.Develops, implements, and revises CAPE Employee Handbook collecting all employee-facing policies.Works with the Executive Director on recruiting, hiring, onboarding, offboarding, and disciplinary procedures.Coordinates Board of Director and committee meetings.Represents CAPE in public forums and media.
