ABOUT GRACE HUYNH
About one person per day dies of suicide in San Diego County every year. This tragic, yet important statistic inspired me to serve my community in overcoming their challenges and improving their mental health. This statistic highlights the importance of being empathetic and compassionate to those around us because their personal story is unknown. This is a principle that I live by. Currently, I am a recent graduate from San Diego State University with a bachelor\'s degree in Psychology with a minor in Counseling and Social Justice. I am driven to acquire the essential experience and skills needed to one day become a marriage and family therapist. I desire to open my own clinic, start a podcast, and travel the world freely. I am experienced in working with children and those suffering from mental health disorders through my internships, research assistant position, and registered behavior technician job. I have further developed my career by interning at a private practice.
