ABOUT GRACE FORSTER
I’m a UX designer looking to use my passion for design thinking and customer service in the UX industry. I have always loved getting my hands dirty with all kinds of creative projects, and I’m always excited to expand my creative muscle.Through majoring in Technical Communication User Experience Design at ASU, I have developed my skills in UX design/research and technical communication skills. The road to finally being able to call myself a “UX designer” was quite bumpy. I was attending a local college my freshman year, but transferred to ASU online at the beginning of the COVID pandemic. Attending college online has given me the ability to graduate a semester early. A couple weeks after my graduation, I attended an intense UX bootcamp: Ironhack. I went to their campus in Portugal for roughly two months. Even with my limited (more nonexistent) understanding of Portuguese, I honed my skills as a UX designer. All of my classes were taught in English, but studying abroad stilled proved to be a challenge. My education has been anything but traditional, but I am proud of the projects I’ve worked on thus far.Skills:° User Personas ° Empathy Interviews ° User Research ° Usability Testing ° Digital Marketing ° Design Thinking ° Technical Editing ° Content Strategy ° Web Authoring ° Prototyping ° Photography° Graphic Design ° Basic Understanding of HTML ° Basic Understanding of 3D Modeling ° Basic Understanding of Agile + Scrum methodologies
