About Grace Dirks

I’m a senior Entrepreneurship and Management double-major at the Neeley School of Business at TCU. My interest in business began in Corpus Christi, where I worked closely with small businesses and saw firsthand how entrepreneurship can shape a community. That experience sparked a passion that I’ve continued to grow through leadership roles, hands-on work, and my time at TCU. Last summer, I led recruitment for my sorority, Sigma Kappa, managing a team of over 100 women and helping coordinate selections from a pool of 1,300 potential new members. I also gained experience in retail and customer service as a sales associate at Cheiffalo Americana, a small business where I learned how day-to-day operations are run. Currently, I’m working as an Attorney Recruiting and Development Intern at Akin, where I’m gaining insight into the intersection of business and law. Earlier this year, I studied abroad in Rome for a semester—an experience that pushed me out of my comfort zone and gave me a deeper understanding of global business and culture. Together, these experiences have shaped me into a thoughtful, well-rounded business student with a strong work ethic and a passion for learning by doing.
