ABOUT GRACE CHHABRA

Hi there! My name is Grace. I am a computer engineering student at Simon Fraser University. Through diverse volunteering experience ranging from STEM to policing, I have developed skills like communication, leadership, and a strong work ethic. I am an enthusiastic STEM student hoping to make a difference in society. Currently, I am working on developing a business focused on teaching STEM to students and working on a project that would enrich other people\'s lives. Stay tuned! I was selected as a Schulich Leader Nominee at my school for excellence in STEM and was a finalist at Surrey Crime Prevention Society as a LIFT student. I have attended conferences like SFU Math Camp, UBC - Quantum - The Future of Tech, UBC - Sustainable for Our Future, KPU - Future Business Leaders, SFU - Women in Computing, and many more (too many to list here). 🧮 I have developed the skills necessary for STEM by being an executive member and volunteer leader at Delta Youth Council, Director of Social Media at the Hands Org, Regional Executive, and Finance Director at Gardenbank Society, and a tutor. My current experience as a math tutor has taught me the art of communicating. It has made me realize how important it is to express your ideas in the right way.
