Today, I channel that lived experience into a multifaceted career at the intersection of patient advocacy, media, policy, and innovation.As a patient expert leveraging my Ph.D.(personal history of disease), I sit on patient advisory boards for leading health institutions, serve as a patient-peer reviewer and mentor for cancer research and clinical trials, and lend my voice as a key opinion leader for pharmaceutical and therapeutic companies seeking to truly understand the patient experience. I don\'t just consult.I co-create and co-design.As Founder and Host of Cancer Convos with Grace B, I lead a global cancer, health, and wellness platform that demystifies cancer through clarity, humanity, and evidence-based dialogue. My esteemed guests operate at the intersection of AI, digital health, biotech, and the human story and together, we are closing the cancer care gap one episode at a time.My advocacy spans health equity, early detection, health literacy, accessibility, and survivorship with a deliberate focus on underserved communities. As ACT Lead, American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network in my Congressional District, my work actively influences research, cancer and healthcare policy, and innovation through the lens of lived experience. I bridge media, advocacy, and global health: connecting with patients, researchers, and policymakers with empathy, strategy, and narrative expertise.One mission drives everything I do: ensuring patient voices create meaningful change in healthcare.I am open to collaborations in research, innovation in healthcare, media, policy, writing, and speaking engagements.
