ABOUT GEROME Q. BANKS

As a Doctor of Education, MBA, and HR Senior Certified Professional with 20 years of expertise in administration, management, and strategic HR, I bring a unique blend of leadership, strategy, and talent development. My career has been dedicated to optimizing leadership, organizational learning, talent management, and development strategy. I oversee high-visibility projects that transform strategic operations through change leadership by directing OPM\'s new aspiring SES development program, Leadership for an Efficient and Accountable Government (LEAG) https://opm.gov/LEAGIn addition to my role at OPM, I serve as an adjunct instructor for the Public Sector HR Association (PSHRA) Executive Leadership certificate program, where I guide HR leaders in navigating the evolving complexities of public sector leadership, public administration, and talent management. My work is centered on equipping leaders with the tools they need to create meaningful change in their organizations and careers. As an HR Senior Certified Professional and Master Career Coach, I am passionate about mentoring emerging leaders and driving forward-thinking solutions.My expertise extends to a wide range of disciplines, including org and leader learning & development, workforce analysis, strategic planning, performance management, and human-centered leadership. I am deeply committed to advancing leadership principles, and I have been actively involved in creating strategies and programs that promote human-centered leadership practices at all organizational levels.Whether through direct coaching and mentoring, thought leadership, or collaboration on high-impact initiatives, my goal is to continue driving meaningful change in talent, leadership, HR, and administration.I live in Fayetteville, NC with my wonderful family, where I am an active Rotarian, adjunct internship professor at Methodist University, and community leader.
