MCP Calibration Engineer & Lead Engineer at Stellantis & Akkodis As part of my role, I am responsible for the validation and certification process of a 250 kW, 400V Bosch Motor, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. My key responsibilities include: Defining Boundary Conditions for motor certification, setting precise parameters for coolant temperature (25°C), oil temperature (25°C), ambient temperature (25°C), and rotor temperature (25°C). Test Bench Selection & Performance TestingIdentifying the optimal test bench for executing the SAE J2907 standard-based performance tests.Scheduling and guiding test operators with boundary conditions to conduct:Peak Torque Test (Setting target torque and speed)Peak Power Test (Defining target speed, torque, and power)30-Minute Continuous Power Test (Configuring speed and power in kW) Data Validation & Acceptance Level ChecksAnalyzing test results through DC plot verification.Performing acceptance level checks in Cadat Tool (in-house validation tool) to ensure compliance, where a green label confirms approval. Final Review & Certification Approval ProcessCompiling test data and preparing a comprehensive presentation for review by the COE team for approval.Gaining approval from the PCAL Director and Chief Engineer before proceeding with the certification organization.Working as a calibration engineer on MCP (Motor Control Unit) for Stellantis Projects.Running the Dynamometer (150 KW ZF motor and 250 KW ZF Motor) depends on the requirement.Handling the DDI, DVP, Delay Comp Tests on Dynos for all voltages from 250 V to 450 V.Analyzing the Data after Completion of the tests.Analyzing the data in the APTIV platform.Generating the DOE with new set of Software and Making and Finetuning the Calibration in the Dyno Level testing.Knowledge on 6So, 6 Step and PWM Enabling, Disabling Method.
