At Sandia National Laboratories, I develop and characterize nanobody-enzyme conjugates, such as covalently linking invertase to nanobodies and heavy chain-only antibodies (HcAbs) to build a modular platform for rapid detection of pathogenic antigens. I’ve engineered Bacterial and mammalian cell lines for cell-free nanobody production using advanced techniques like Gibson assembly, Golden Gate cloning, and optimized plasmid delivery (electroporation, conjugation, transfection). My work also includes library preparation and next-gen sequencing on Illumina and PacBio platforms, while I also streamline workflows by troubleshooting, crafting SOPs, and boosting scalability and efficiency
