Goutham in his role as the Offering Manager - Cloud Infrastructure Services at IBM, is responsible for new initiatives development with respect to solution building, platformization services, tool integrations and cloud initiativesacross geographies - providing Pre-Sales support to the various solutions delivered by IBM. Working on launching new service offering initiatives, conducting market research, competitive benchmarking, analyst interactions, pricing mechanisms, sales and solutioning enablement are some of the key areas that he is responsible for. Currently he is handling the cloud migration portfolio which recommends and executes cloud adoption for end-customer which delivers the services in a modular manner that makes data center migrations less daunting. Goutham has been associated with various forums and technical communities, where he enjoys providing some of his past experience and point-of-views. He has more than 22 years of industry experience and has worked in Banking, Consulting and IT Services companies. Prior to IBM, Goutham was heading the Infrastructure Management Services and associated practices at Happiest Minds Technologies Private Limited. He was instrumental in building the practices from scratch and turning them into successful business modules which catered to all the facets of end-customer\'s needs. He is also interested in getting challenged with Hanayama Puzzles, Sudoku and RPG games. He is a proud father, who at times also gets challenged by his son in out of the box thinking! Goutham has a Post Graduate Diploma holder from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur and a Bachelor\'s Degree in Mathematics from the Madras University, India.
