About Kelly Gould
I am a reliable and resourceful operations and legal specialist, team motivator, organization enthusiast, and efficiency seeker. I am a big-picture thinker with attention-to-detail planning and execution skills. My previous position was as a Paralegal within Microsoft\'s IPG Patent Engineering & Operations. Before that, I was with Artech Consulting, an IT staffing firm, as a Project Manager for Microsoft\'s Deals Center of Excellence program. I also worked for Microsoft’s Cross Border Travel program under a managed service through Artech, providing immigration and tax compliance guidance to all Microsoft Services employees engaged in international travel and work. Selected achievements include: Developed and proposed 10/18 approved projects to Microsoft Senior Business Program Managers to keep the Cross Border Travel program running amid Covid-related reduced workload. Independently managed 8 and co-managed 4 projects, seeing all projects through from beginning to end. Developed and managed a detailed project schedule and work plan, as well as provided consistent updates to stakeholders. Self-taught proficiency in Power BI to create a Travel Destination dashboard, which allows Microsoft Services employees to choose their destination and see potential entry options (and processing times) based on the type of work to be done and the associated required travel documents. Self-taught proficiency in Camtasia (video editing software) to create 6 training and onboarding videos for Microsoft Services employees to have as reference for how the entire Cross Border Travel program functions and how to submit travel requests for approval through an online portal. Performed voice-over for all 6 videos. Received 4 promotions in < 2 years at Artech. In my free time, I enjoy playing basketball and tennis, learning languages, watching the Great British Bakeoff, eating Thai food, and calling long-distance friends.
