As a Chartered Construction Professional (MCIOB) with a dual academic foundation. My bachelor’s in Architecture from India and an RICS-accredited MSc in Construction Project Management from the University of Manchester quip me to bring a multidisciplinary perspective to the built environment. My career has been shaped by a clear and consistent vision: to understand and contribute to construction projects from inception to completion.This vision has guided every step of my professional growth. From early roles in architectural design and coordination to my current position as Assistant Project Manager within the Southern Construction Framework, I’ve actively sought opportunities that allow me to engage with the full project lifecycle. I’ve delivered public sector schemes ranging from £5–50M, with responsibilities spanning stakeholder engagement, contract administration (NEC/JCT), procurement strategy, programme control, and technical design reviews.I’ve worked across consultancy and contractor environments, enabling me to navigate complex delivery models with agility and precision. My experience includes leading governance meetings, contributing to fee proposals and RFPs, managing change control documentation, and supporting KPI tracking and reporting. I’ve also collaborated with multidisciplinary teams including MEP, sustainability, and BIM consultants ensuring design integrity and delivery excellence on construction projects.My focus is now on opportunities that enable me to deepen my involvement in projects from concept to handover. This includes expanding my knowledge in sustainability, stakeholder management, and advanced project controls. I am actively pursuing roles that offer growth and allow me to transition into full Project Manager responsibilities, where I can take greater ownership and leadership.Beyond project delivery, I am committed to contributing to the construction industry through mentorship and advocacy. As a regional representative for the CIOB Tomorrow’s Leaders community, I’ve organised CPD events, delivered guest lectures, and supported emerging professionals in navigating their career paths. These engagements reflect my belief that leadership is not just about managing projects—it’s about empowering people.I thrive in environments where collaboration, purpose, and innovation converge.
