About Gordon Zhao

I have always embraced technology in my personal life, however I always took the saying \"don\'t turn your hobby/passions into your primary means of income,\" too literally. While one of my main hobbies/passions have dealt more with the hardware side of things and the involuntary tech support that was associated, I understood that the software is what made the machines and devices function. It wasn\'t until I sat down and reflected on what I wanted to do with my career did I realize I thoroughly enjoyed the challenge of resolving the software complexities that run or interact with things that I utilize day to day. Although I had a taste of writing in Java during the college courses I took, I needed more than that to be able to make the next move in my career, to pursue a role as a software developer. That\'s how I found myself narrowing down coding boot camps across the country and even world to find the specific languages (e.g, Java, JavaScript, SQL) and experiences (e.g, development of web applications and real life examples of software) I was seeking. Beyond the coding boot camp I am seeking a role as a software developer that can continue helping me develop my technical skills, create a product that will impact the organization, or offer a positive impact for the society we live in.
