ABOUT GORDON RAE
I have recently joined SSE Renewables as a Graduate Engineer. I look forward to developing my renewable energy skill set and knowledge at one of the leading energy companies in the UK. With my brief exposure to offshore wind project development at Genesis Eco-Energy Developments, I am excited to expand on my knowledge and learn from the expert teams within SSE Renewables. I am particularly interested in offshore and onshore wind design and development. I completed an MEng in renewable energy at Stellenbosch University (SU) where my thesis focused on quantifying the offshore wind resources available to South Africa. Prior to this, I completed a BSc in Civil Engineering through the University of Cape Town (UCT); and a PGdip in Sustainable Development through SU\'s Sustainability Institute (SI). My interests and passion lie in renewable energy and sustainable development.
