ABOUT GORDON HERBERT
Since September 2021, I am enjoying the great honour of coaching the German Basketball National Team.I believe that the strongest teams are those in which the players, coaches and support staff feel connected to each other. With the German National Team, we go even further with the honour to represent our country being paramount.Through our Vision, Core Values and the Commitment of our Players, we have been able to build a championship culture. In the past 2 years, we have delivered on our mission and commitment of 2 medals in 2 years: a Bronze medal in Eurobasket \'22 and a Gold medal in the Worlds \'23.As World Champions, the Olympic Dream is on the horizon. After playing in the Olympics in 1984, I now have the privilege to coach a great group of young men in the 2024 Olympics in France.
