I\'m a Dutch designer with over a decade of experience. Although I am a generalist I have a preference for ux design, data visualisation and data products. I used to run my own design studio called Brandstof (20••••16). From 20••••21, I worked at Shopify as a Lead Designer and UX Manager on the Analytics team. In the summer of 2022 I joined Brex!Some things that are important to me:· Collaboration across disciplines. Everyone owns the user experience and we all contribute to the product.· Build for the long term. We have to ask tough questions about the ethical and moral implications of our designs.· Understand the business behind the product.· Process is fine but sometimes it\'s ok to embrace the chaos.· Data is great, information is better.· Health over career.
