About Gordon Taylor

Gordon Taylor retired from the DEA in March 2012 after serving 25 years as a DEA Special Agent. He was the head of DEA\'s Sacramento District for nine years, where he directed DEA operations throughout the Central Valley and inland Northern California. During his career, Gordon worked at DEA offices in San Diego, Sacramento, the DEA Academy in Quantico, VA, and DEA Headquarters in Washington, D.C. Gordon has taught interview and interrogation techniques throughout the U.S. and overseas since 1996. He has trained thousands of law enforcement officers and members of the intelligence community, including state and local detectives, ATF, FBI, DEA and CIA. He is also a nationally recognized subject matter expert on the contentious subject of marijuana legalization. He has participated in hundreds of media interviews on a variety of drug topics with local, national and international media outlets. Gordon currently works as a speaker and consultant on the topics of anti-terrorism, counter-narcotics as well as interview & interrogation techniques.
