Bovaer® is a feed supplement that reduces enteric methane emissions, contributing to a significant and immediate reduction of the environmental footprint of meat, milk, and dairy products. On average, it reduces emissions by 30% from dairy cows and 45% from beef cattle.I am responsible for overseeing the safe and timely execution of construction works for the new chemical production facility within our existing Dalry site. Main duties include guiding and controlling the engineering contractor\'s construction team, ensuring compliance with defined DSM-Firmenich and local regulations, and managing the project within the allocated budget.Set up and lead the DSM owner construction team, as well as provide guidance and control to the external construction management organization of the engineering contractor. Ensure the quality and quantity of input documentation, as well as the timely delivery of documentation, executed work, and reporting. Review and elaborate on technical requirements and specifications in close alignment with other stakeholders.Ensure the application of relevant standards and laws throughout the construction process. This will involve utilizing my expertise to review and approve deliverables established by the Engineering contractor, such as the CDM construction site establishment, construction safety plan, construction plan and progress report, construction labor/equipment management/documentation, construction quality control and inspection (test) report, complete punch list, pre-commissioning system package planning and progress report, finalizing mechanical completion, and turn-around and handover package.Ensure the quality and safe control of ongoing construction works.
