As a Collaborative Designer in the Advanced Engineering department, I work closely with customers and cross-functional teams to develop innovative and effective tool designs. My role centers on analyzing data, identifying non-tool-able conditions, and proposing part concessions to resolve these issues. I work from concept creation based on VP/launch information, ensuring feasibility, while also driving continuous improvements in tool designs to meet both customer and internal standards. I maintain strong communication with the mold flow and manifold ordering departments and help guide design progression, staying aligned with project timelines and departmental goals. I also promote a collaborative team environment, contribute to the development of junior personnel, and maintain a high level of professionalism and organization in all aspects of my work.
