Active member of Broadcast / ProAV global market segment team responsible for global customer development and industry engagements to strategize, plan, and drive Xilinx investments in silicon, intellectual property (IP), and ecosystem partnerships to ensure continued growth and superior positioning in the global broadcast / ProAV marketplace.The dual role of supporting external global tier-1 customer base, and internal product marketing/planning/engineering teams allowed me to serve as \'market voice\' and key interface between internal and external customers. Key areas of expertise included base Audio/Video connectivity IP (HDMI, DisplayPort, SDI, MIPI, V-by-One etc), Video Codecs (H.264, H.265, AV1, VVC as well as mezzanine class codecs such as J2K, Jpeg-xs, TICO, VC-2 etc), and application layer framework for multimedia deployment such as V4L2, Gstreamer. Served as technical marketing resource for deployment of new products (silicon and IP), reference designs, industry presentations including training of global field sales teams, distributors, and ecosystem partners in key technologies, and industry trends such as HDR, Secure Reliable Transport (SRT), SMPTE ST-2110, and the dynamic video CODEC ecosystem.
