For the past 30 years, Gord has passionately pursued and executed leadership roles in multiple technology focused organizations. From early career consulting, sales, delivery and management positions with companies such as IBM, an entrepreneurial career in building award winning business application software and professional services companies, his tenure on boards with international not for profit organizations, and several senior leadership roles, Gord has developed a deep understanding and respect for the importance of leadership in organizations today. He has extensive experience in strategy development and go to market execution, achieving operational and financial results, scaling high growth companies and creating high performance cultures with high performing results centric leaders. Over his career, he has completed several company acquisitions, been engaged in angel funding initiatives and also successfully sold companies to strategic buyers.In his career Gord has focused not only on building skills and best practices in operational, sales and marketing and financial leadership, but as an executive mentor and coach works diligently with leaders in developing their individual leadership effectiveness. Through his graduate studies at Royal Roads University (MA, Leadership 2012), he developed a deep academic complement to his practical leadership experience. Gord is a skilled facilitator and public speaker and believes very strongly in the importance of shared vision and values-centric leadership.He has served on not for profit and private company boards throughout his career and recently completed by ICD.D certification through the Institute of Corporate Directors.
