ABOUT GORD FOO

I am a bilingual (Spanish-English) energy geoscientist with a robust exploration, development, and operations skillset. My industry experience in oil and gas covers the successful planning and execution of dozens of exploration and development wells in challenging environments. I harbour a strong belief in the value of cross-disciplinary learning, which has helped me develop proficiency in topical fields in the energy sector, including engineering, programming and the nexus between renewable energy and oil and gas operations, for which I have received industry recognition. I am passionate about finding new ways to harness the abundance of energy available to society. We live in an age with unprecedented access to data, ideas and opportunities to collaborate. It is a great privilege and responsibility to supply energy to the communities we work and live in. Finding novel ways to do this more affordably, and with minimal impact is what the health and prosperity of future generations will depend on. I welcome connection with other like-minded individuals to advance these important causes and leave our communities positioned to enjoy the benefits of this progress far into the future.
