ABOUT GORAN SAMUEL PESIC

Goran Samuel Pesic is a business executive and political strategist with more than 30 years of experience at the intersection of defense, national security, government affairs and international business.He serves as President and CEO of the Samuel Group of Companies, an international strategic advisory platform supporting defense and aerospace firms, advanced technology companies, and institutional investors operating across the U.S, Canada, Europe, Asia and allied markets.The Samuel Group provides integrated advisory services across federal procurement, government affairs, U.S. defense advisory, corporate strategy, market entry, human capital solutions, investment advisory and strategic communications. Its operating companies include Samuel Group D.C.(Washington, D.C.), Samuel Associates (Ottawa), Samuel Strategies, Samuel Technologies, Samuel People, Samuel Ventures International and the Samuel Media Corporation.Mr. Pesic is a registered lobbyist in Washington, D.C. and Ottawa and was recognized in 2024 by Canadian Defence Review as one of Canada’s leading defense and aerospace industry lobbyists. His work regularly supports engagement with Congress, the Executive Branch, the Governments of Canada, Japan, South Korea, NATO institutions, and allied defense and security stakeholders, with a focus on defense industrial cooperation, supply-chain resilience and U.S. global security alignment.Mr. Pesic also serves as Chairman of the Policy Insights Forum (PIF), an independent, nonpartisan think tank focused on national security, NATO, EU and international affairs, emerging technologies, climate resilience and economic policy.Earlier in his career, he led G2G business development at the Canadian Commercial Corporation, established CAE Inc.’s Defense and Security Regional Office in Abu Dhabi, and held senior political advisory roles within the Government of Canada on Canada–U.S. trade and national security policy.Mr. Pesic is a Fulbright Scholar in U.S. National Security Policy, awarded by the U.S. Department of State for leadership in U.S.–Canada relations. He completed advanced studies at the University of California and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from the University of Toronto.
