   As a director, I wear several hats at the company to manage company operations, create repeatable and scalable process and make strategic decisions to improve people, teams, agile processes, develop products and hire talent. As a certified Google Cloud Data Engineer and Architect, I also help customer projects with designing and developing ETL solutions on the cloud that suits their performance and scalability needs. For one of our customer Projects Nom-nom that focuses on pet health, we have helped the customer solve scaling issues with their data analysis project setup on Google Collab(ETL), Cloud Storage and BigQuery. Due to the memory and cpu limitations of Collab notebook, our customer had run into a roadblock with their analysis pipeline with ever increasing data. Our team helped scale their ETL solution, migrating from Collab notebook to the serverless solution on Google Cloud Dataflow. We had thoroughly reviewed the python logic on Collab notebook and made equivalent translations to Dataflow (based on the Apache Beam Model). We had successfully delivered a scalable serverless ETL solution on Dataflow, seamlessly integrating with Cloud Storage and BigQuery.Upon satisfactory results with the above project, the customer has collaborated with us to help them improve the performance of another data pipeline, processing MicroBiome data using abundance tables with Python and R-scripts. The data processing logic is hosted on Compute Engine VM (having its limitations with scaling) combined with a makeshift event driven pipeline with Cloud Storage and Cloud Functions. We plan to improve the pipeline performance by evaluating the Python and R-scripts, make necessary code changes to migrate the ETL logic from Compute Engine VM to a serverless solution such as CloudRun and better manage and monitor the pipeline using Google Cloud Workflows.I also work as a Product Owner to train and build teams with agile methodology to deliver high quality customer success.
