About Gopi
I’ve been working in DevOps and platform engineering for around 10 years now, mostly in cloud environments like Azure, AWS, and GCP. Over the last few years, I’ve been focused more on Kubernetes and AKS — building and managing scalable platforms, especially for data-heavy and stateful workloads. In my current role, I’ve been working on deploying and supporting graph-based platforms using Neo4j on Kubernetes. I’ve mainly handled the infrastructure side — setting up clusters using Helm and StatefulSets, managing storage with PV/PVC, and making sure everything is stable and production-ready. I also spend a lot of time on automation — using Terraform for infrastructure, building CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions, and writing scripts in Python and Bash to reduce manual work. On the observability side, I’ve worked with Prometheus, Grafana, and Azure Monitor to build dashboards and alerting for platform and database performance.Most of my experience has been in banking and healthcare, so I’m used to working in secure, regulated environments with a strong focus on reliability and compliance. Overall, I enjoy building platforms that are scalable, automated, and easy for teams to use
