Over 18 years of extensive experience in drug discovery and development in the pharmaceutical industry. Strong track record of providing biomarker, translational and development strategy and leadership for various assets, including small and large molecules, in multiple disease areas• Deep understanding of a wide variety of targets and pathways as well as clinical development opportunities and challenges in several therapeutic areas, particularly neurology (neurodegenerative diseases and pain/migraine), metabolic disease (NASH, cardio/renal), immunology, and oncology. Strong pre-clinical, translational, and clinical contributions around targets, mechanism, biomarkers, assays, diagnostics, indications and combinations• Actively involved in several BD projects including due diligence, in/out licensing, divestments, alliances for clinical and candidate molecules, especially in neurology.• Strong champion of evaluating and incorporating novel cutting-edge technologies/ideas/plans, wherever appropriate, to deliver on objectives.
