Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 Cisco switches, ensuring network reliability and performance. Administer and maintain Cisco ASA 5585 and Cisco Firepower 3100 firewalls, including configuration of firewall policies, access control, NAT rules, and security rules. Perform advanced routing and switching configurations, including EIGRP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, EtherChannel, and ACLs. Maintain and configure FTP servers for automated backup of switch and firewall configurations. Secure network infrastructure by configuring NTP, HTTPS, SNMP, SSH, and Telnet, and mitigating associated vulnerabilities. Perform system hardening on Windows servers and network devices to reduce risk and ensure compliance. Monitor network health and device availability using WhatsUp Gold monitoring tool. Conduct vulnerability assessments and apply fixes or configuration changes as needed to close identified security gaps. Maintain documentation and assist with IT infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and audits.
