   As a GIS Fiber Design Engineer at the firm, I have been responsible for preparing inputs and developing both high-level and low-level designs based on client requirements, using geospatial software such as QGIS, Keycom, and Smallworld (PNI) to ensure comprehensive network connectivity.We follow established architectural and design criteria to implement various types of network connectivity, including primary and distribution networks. As part of the quality audit team, I helped ensure the delivery of high-quality designs.Based on architecture and geography, we establish connectivity from the Optical Line Terminal (OLT) to the Optical Network Terminal (ONT) and interlink the primary network between OLTs to ensure stable and reliable connectivityTo provide high-speed connectivity to end customers, we configure the network using various splitters and multiple storage locations. Collaborated with the onshore permit team to ensure fiber designs met local municipality and government agency requirements, and assisted in preparing final design plots to securenecessary approvals.Experienced in preparing detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and Bills of Materials (BOM) using Excel to ensure all components are accurately accounted for. Also proficient in creating splice cards for each address to ensure proper fiber splicing from the ODF to the associated OLT, along with preparing permit plans and connectivity survey lists as part of the project deliverables.
