Handling pre and post documentation related to import/Export. • Handling custom clearance activities for import & export logistics & deal with forwarding agents, shipping liners & CHA.• Interaction and negotiations with logistics, custom house agent / freight forwarders for quotes /approvals.• Interaction with Planning department for purchase of lab products, chemicals, chromatography & diagnostic equipment’s, Life science products & Consumables from the supplier & monitoring the materials reached to warehouse.• Ensuring timely clearance of import consignments from customs authorities.• Setting up SOP with clearing forwarding and logistics agents for better service. • Submission of MIS reports - Imports / exports to SCM / Finance and sale for analysis. • Coordination with internal / external departments to meet business unit demands.• Coordinate with Warehouse for the receipts of the goods & ensuring GRN is generated for the same.• Responsible for getting NOC from CDSCO to import pharmaceutical products
