Gopal Chhetri has over 30 years of experience in IT services industry. He is Senior Vice President and the BU Leader of CGI APAC. As a BU and GCC leader, he is responsible for business growth, profit and loss (P&L) of the business unit and successful delivery of projects and services to multiple large industry sectors including Manufacturing, Retail, Consumer Services and Government. He has extensive people and client management expertise with a successful career record in challenging and diverse international environments. Gopal has worked in multiple industry sectors such as financial services, oil and gas, manufacturing, retail, government and utilities. He has worked extensively in all regions of Asia, UK, Central Europe, Africa and the US. A pioneer in promoting Global Capability Centers (GCCs) business, he has been instrumental in advancing CGI’s portfolio of over 60 GCC clients across APAC. He has successfully developed and grown high performance team with low attrition. He has been recognized with multiple awards including the highest leadership award in CGI, The CGI Builder Award.
